A Palindrome for Peace

War is LIVE and RAW
spell it out,
forward and back:

WAR:RAW LIVE:EVIL
WAR EVILs RAW LIVEs

It’s a RAW LIVE EVIL WAR

Spell it out.

And WARFARE is not FAIR WAR,
WARFARE is never FAIR
but scrambled RAW FEAR

WARFARE is built out of RAWFEAR

Instead of WAR, instead of FEAR, instead of RAW FEAR

Let’s dismantle the WarMachine

Wash away the hate, wash away the greed,
let go of injustice, prejudice, we need
a paradigm shift to create peace.

Because we can’t spell PEACE out of WARFARE.

If the lion has a thorn in his paw,
don’t yank his tail,
have compassion, conservatives.

Hey, Christian Politicians, if people are hungry, feed them,
even if they’re your enemies. It’s in the bible, Romans 12:20.

Hey bullies on the playground,
if you don’t wanna get bombed,
don’t bomb.
It’s called the golden rule…

Let’s feed the children and love the mother.
Feed the children and love each other.
How ‘bout a massage and a cuppa tea, it’s
all done brewin’ here,

let’s share

a cup and drink it down
drink it down deep
where Core is Source
and Trust is Peace
and peace is everywhere and

LOVE EVOLves…

Spell it out

I first performed this poem at the Iraq Antiwar Rally with Senator Paul Simon as keynote speaker.
